OUR NEXT CITYWIDE EVENT IS FAST APPROACHING ON SEPTEMBER 28-29th!

There are 34 homes opening, 21 are new to Bristol Green Doors, showing a variety of different measures in locations across Bristol.

Over the weekend, you can find solutions to cold damp rooms, hear about lifestyle choices that can save you money on your bills, understand how renewable technologies can work for you and see how homes have been transformed by whole house retrofits.  We also have an exciting programme of workshop and talks.

Homes will generally be open between 12 noon and 6pm on either Saturday or Sunday or both days. A couple of homes require booking, and some will be running limited number tours on the hour on a first come basis. Homes are free to visit, though donations toward the event are welcome.

Sponsors may be available in homes where they carried out works. They are able to offer specialist advice about the features of these homes. Detailed case studies for each home will be available in that home for you to take away with you. All case studies will also be downloadable from the website.

To find out about the open homes and workshops etc, pick up a Map booklet – available soon from cafes and bars, theatres and galleries, community centres across Bristol and from the open homes themselves over the weekend.

This year we are also very excited to announce that we have been working with Bristol University to develop a Bristol Green Doors App – if you have a smart phone you can use the App to find your way around the open homes – please do send us feedback on your experience of using it so we can improve it for future years.

Click here to find out more about the homes or here if you are interested in being an event steward or helping in other ways.

Please note; Bristol Green Doors cannot offer advice on retrofitting, we let the householders speak for themselves. For more information on many of the measures installed in our homes go to our Next Steps pages.
