Among the many fun events during Big Green Week (link) are a series of “Energising” Sessions in the Solar Pavilion on College Green from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd.

Friday 21st June will have a business focus and will include the launch of Bristol Solar City, and the Bristol Community Energy Strategy, as well as renewable energy exhibition with advice, information and displays. There will be a Bristol Energy Network strategy launch drinks event at Zero Degrees on Friday evening – 6.00 pm.

Bristol University will also be hosting a meeting on Friday for community group representatives, academics and community energy professionals on “Energised communities – research in practice”. Booking required – http://www.bristol.ac.uk/cabot/events/2013/277.html

On Saturday the Solar Pavilion event will host a Community day, and on Sunday a Family day with discussions, demonstrations and workshops to help you take control of your energy use. Participants include Bristol Solar City, Bristol Energy Network, Bristol Power Coop, Bristol Energy Co-operative, and Bristol Friends of the Earth. Also music, comedy, poetry and dance.
